Starting Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Monday, Oct. 30, motorists are advised of possible intermittent lanes closures at Skyline Boulevard and Mohawk Parkway. These intermittent closures are necessary as crews set up signal poles and mast arms for the new traffic signal. Construction at this intersection is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Advance warning signs, cones, and barricades will be used to direct motorists through the area. The posted speed limit is 35 mph while traveling through the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and to seek alternate routes whenever possible. Weather and unforeseen circumstances could affect the construction schedule and may cause delays.
