The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our

community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 19 drug arrests.To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On September 28, 2009, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Tirzah Althouse Eckman, D.O.B. 03/08/62, of 3235 Cypress

Legends Cir., Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Fowler St. / Willard St., Fort

Myers.

On October 1, 2009, at approximately 01:19 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Larry Wayne Mosley, D.O.B. 03/05/55, of 8066 Mantanzas

rd., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The

incident occurred in the area of 207 4th Street, Fort Myers.

On October 2, 2009, at approximately 01:07 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Adam Diaz, D.O.B. 03/08/86, of 821 Comanche, LaBelle,

on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred

in the area of SR 82 / Gregory Ave., Lehigh Acres.

On October 2, 2009, at approximately 01:50 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Matias Cruz Jr., D.O.B. 06/22/83, of 1907 N. Pine Dr., Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of 1526 S. Haviland Ave, Lehigh Acres.

On October 2, 2009, at approximately 02:11 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jorge Zuniga, D.O.B. 04/03/84, of 11900 Palm Bay Ct.,

Bonita Springs, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 27500 Hickory Blvd, Bonita Springs.

On October 2, 2009, at approximately 11:13 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Steven Michael Wood, D.O.B. 05/06/78, of 5460 Oak Ridge

Ave, Fort Myers Beach, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled

Substance without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 2545

Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach.

On October 3, 2009, at approximately 05:24 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Nicholas Michael Curley, D.O.B. 08/16/88, of 17101 College

Club Loop, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 10028 Gulf Center Dr., Fort

On October 6, 2009, at approximately 08:19 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Sharon Watson, D.O.B. 12/15/55, of Fort Myers, on felony

drug charges for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell/Deliver. The

incident occurred in the area of 9153 Carolina Street, Bonita Springs.

Deputies arrested Wayne Dee Webb, D.O.B. 06/29/53, of 4689 Fiji Lane,

Bonita Springs, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine with Intent

to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of 9153 Carolina Street,

Bonita Springs.

On October 7, 2009, at approximately 04:28 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jessica Rene Turner, D.O.B. 02/19/89, of 3784 14th Ave.

SE, Naples, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 11494 Bonita

Beach Rd., Bonita Springs.

On October 7, 2009, at approximately 07:22 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Bryant Edward Lynch, D.O.B. 12/05/68, of 31104 Pocono

St., on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach.

On October 7, 2009, at approximately 10:33 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Edmond Antonio Wilson, D.O.B. 04/24/81, of 3225 Ford St.,

Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Ford St. / Lincoln Blvd., Fort Myers.

On October 8, 2009, at approximately 02:31 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Douglas Adam Zelesko, D.O.B. 12/25/77, of 1928 SE 8th

Place, Cape Coral, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine,

Smuggle Contraband into Controlled Facility. The incident occurred in the

area of Maple Dr. / Summerlin Rd.., Fort Myers.

On October 9, 2009, at approximately 07:10 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Virgil Tallie Spires, D.O.B. 05/09/62, of 2746 Mango St.,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of Breeze Dr. / Case Lane., North Fort Myers.

On October 10, 2009, at approximately 03:11 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Sara Elizabeth Carley, D.O.B. 09/10/85, of 2907 38th

Street, Lehigh Acres, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled

Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of SR 82 / Green Meadow Rd., Lehigh Acres.

On October 10, 2009, at approximately 05:44 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Matthew Gonzalez, D.O.B. 11/28/90, of 10426 Stafford

Creek Ct., Lehigh Acres, on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana

with Intent to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd. /

Homestead Rd., Lehigh Acres.

On October 11, 2009, at approximately 05:51 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Kevin Eric Johnson, D.O.B. 05/09/72, of 501 Eland Dr.,

North Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijauna. The incident occurred in the area of Powell Dr. / US 41, North Fort

On October 11, 2009, at approximately 08:54 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Casey Gale Commander, D.O.B. 07/15/81, of 1121 S. Loop

Rd., Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of
