Bead Show Sale set at studio
The Cape Coral Arts Studio will host its 4th Anniversary Bead Show Sale, with the Stone Age Emporium, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Debra Heintz, owner of Stone Age Emporium, said the bead show will have a blowout sale during October, November and December.
She is offering a 20 percent discount to those who attend.
“Debra is offering 20 percent off of everything for the months of October, November and December, as well as showing new items,” said Cher Bell, Cape Coral Arts Studio Fine Arts Division supervisor.
“We have never done a sale like this. Really this is a giveaway at this point,” Heintz said. “This is the first time ever.”
She said the list of what they will have at the show “ranges from A to Z.”
The free event will provide viewers with the opportunity to choose from a large assortment of jewelry supplies, glass beads, various beaded designs, precious metal clay or gold and silversmithing.
Gemstones and glass beads that will be for sale will include lapis, sodalite, carnelian, jasper, garnet, pearls and onyx.
The glass beads for sale include Czech and Chinese glass, lampwork and fiber optic beads in a large variety of colors.
The bead show will also have jewelry findings like crimp beads, jump rings, charms, sterling silver and gold-filled chains by the foot, gemstone pendants, cabochons and different tools.
Shows will also take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 14 and Dec. 5 at the Cape Coral Arts Studio.
Heintz said the shows have always been very successful in the past due to their great clientele.
“We have had a clientele for four years now and plus we had a store,” she said of the high turnouts.
“The bead shows have been successful bringing in new people to the arts studio,” Bell said.
