Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On October 26, 2009, at approximately 12:47 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Muriel M. Taragowski, D.O.B. 09/14/41 of 1119 S Health

Park Cr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 9981 S

Health Park Cr, Fort Myers, Florida.

On October 26, 2009, at approximately 11:57 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Matthew Aaron Reisig, D.O.B. 11/20/71 of 24066 Roger

Dodger St, Bonita Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of

Berwood Pl/Old 41 Rd, Bonita Springs, Florida.

On October 27, 2009, at approximately 12:27 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Sheena G. Altamirano, D.O.B. 09/09/82 of 3231

Cottonwood Bend, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of

SR 80/Brown Rd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On October 27, 2009, at approximately 02:20 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Robert J. O’Hare, D.O.B. 05/20/79 of 14572 Aeries Way Dr,

Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of College Pkwy, Fort

Myers, Florida.

On October 28, 2009, at approximately 10:38 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested James Everette Shifflett, D.O.B. 03/24/80 of 2328 Daniel

Ave, Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Homestead

Rd/Irondale Rd, Lehigh Acres, Florida.

On October 29, 2009, at approximately 01:35 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Otto Rony Pineda, D.O.B. 10/12/55 of 118 NW 95th Ln,

Coral Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos

Blvd/Pine Ridge Rd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On October 29, 2009, at approximately 07:01 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Waneeta L. Winston, D.O.B. 09/05/58 of 15811 N Jade Ct,

North Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bayshore

Rd/Hart Rd, North Fort Myers, Florida.

On October 29, 2009, at approximately 08:35 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Stephen Christopher Houser, D.O.B. 08/10/83 of 15472

Crystal Lake Dr, North Fort Myers, for +DUI. The incident occurred in the area
