Housing resources available on website
The Lee County Department of Human Services would like to encourage property owners/landlords and persons seeking rental units to continue to use its new Housing Resources website.
Property owners/landlords are able to register a logon and enter information about available units, and the public can search for properties to rent, said Patricia Howell of Lee County Dept.of Human Services.
A search for available rental units can be done by:
Number of bedrooms/bathrooms
Rent amount
Zip Code
In the listing you will find:
Security and pet deposit amounts
Accessibility information
Number of units available
Pictures of the property (if available)
Links to Google maps
The URL for this new web-based tool is:http://housing.dhs.lee-county.com.
She said Lee County provides rental information as assistance to potential renters. Rental information is provided by landlords and is assumed to be accurate. Lee County has not verified rental information and assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of information, condition of rental units, or pending litigation against any property or its landlord, she said. Lee County strongly recommends each potential tenant perform their own due diligence before entering into any rental lease or agreement, Howell said.
