The following upcoming public meetings are scheduled in Lehigh Acres. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in local issues.

Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corp (LACPC) has canceled its Wednesday 6:30 p.m., Nov. 11 meeting at Veterans Park Community Center because the Center is closed on Veterans Day. Call 340-8658 for more information. The next meeting will be held on Dec. 9, same time, same location. The LACPC meets on the second Wednesday night of each month and is open to the public.

East County Water Control District (ECWCD) will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23 at its office on East County Lane off of Lee Blvd. Call 368-0044 for more information.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District will meet at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Veterans Park Community Center.

Lehigh Community Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 at New Image Ministries, 29 S. Homestead Rd. Email Damon Shelor at president@lehighcouncil.com for more information. The Community Council meets on the third Monday of each month.
