Holiday banners go up in Lehigh

Holiday banners go up: Charles Fletcher Sr, shown at the bottom of a ladder, and his son, Charles Fletcher Jr., are shown putting up holiday banners along Homestead Rd. for the Christmas holidays. The banners, showing two joyful snowmen, were attached to most of the green decorative stoplight poles along the main street in downtown Lehigh last week. Both Fletchers work with the senior Fletcher’s brother, Mike Fletcher, who owns Rent A Son in Lehigh. the Lehigh Acres Street Lighting District hired Fletcher to put up the banners. On the day the holiday banners went up, the temperatures in Lehigh were in the mid 80s, ideal fall and winter temperatures for the upcoming holiday season, the senior Fletcher said.
