Investigation continues into bank robbery

Investigators with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office are continuing their investigation today in the Nov. 23, armed robbery of the Bank of America at 18900 N. Tamiami Trail in the Del Tura Plaza. They said they received 911 call at shortly before 10 a.m. that the bank had been robbed.

Robbery detectives are searching for two white males, who were armed and wearing all black clothing, ski masks and gloves, authorities said.

The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.
