To The Editor:

You wonder about the high crime in the Weed and Seed area where there is a program to weed out the crime.

But do you know that if someone leaves their homes, someone puts a sticker in their mail box

stating that this house is vacant.

If the mail box door hangs open (as some of them are), this invites criminals to come back later and break in, and cause damage and theft of appliances, etc.

We live in the area and when we walk around we see this everyday.
