Broadway Palm announces 2010 concert series
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre announces the 2010 Concert Series. This season Broadway Palm features six concerts that include an array of 50s rock and roll legends, extraordinary vocalists, an evening of dinner and dancing, and an afternoon of music by composers Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin.
Performing on Monday, January 25, are The Shirelles.
They continue to entertain audiences worldwide with their high-energy show that includes hits such as I Met Him on a Sunday, Dedicated to the One I Love, Tonight’s the Night, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and Soldier Boy.
Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Dinner and show tickets are $52 and show only seats are $32.
An Afternoon of Gershwin & Cole Porter with Richard Cooper is on Friday, February 5. Richard Cooper brings his smooth and powerful vocal style to songs such as Anything Goes, It’s De Lovely, S’Wonderful, Summertime, I Get a Kick Out of You, Don’t Fence Me In, Our Love is Here to Stay and more. Richard will be accompanied by a pianist. This is a matinee concert with lunch at 11:45 a.m. and the show at 1:15 p.m. Lunch and matinee show tickets are $47 and show only seats are $32.
Rock and roll legends Danny and the Juniors perform on Monday, February 8, for an evening of non-stop hits from the 50’s and 60s.
Danny and the Juniors are known for their beautiful ballads and lush vocal harmonies along with precision dance routines; side-splitting comedy, ala Martin and Lewis, and terrific impressions. Their hits include At The Hop, Sometimes, Rock and Roll is Here To Stay, Twistin’ USA, Do You Love Me and more. Bring your loved one for a night of dinner and dancing with Dancing thru the Decades on Monday, February 22, 2010. The theatre is installing a dance floor directly in front of the stage for this show. Richie C and the All Star Band will serenade you with timeless classics such as Come Fly With Me, Mack the Knife, Hound Dog and Can’t Help Fallin’ in Love.
