Jackpot Junction ribbon cutting
The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Jackpot Junction, a casino style arcade at 320 Lee Blvd., in the Town Plaza. Shown here in the center is Marylou Land, Lehigh’s honorary mayor, who read a proclamation naming the day as Jackpot Junction Day in Lehigh. Behind her is Thomas Cook, of Jackpot Junction, and next is Julie Beck, holding the giant scissors, who is the owner. Jackpot Junction is open from Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Also shown in the group are members of the Chamber who attended the ceremony.
