To The Editor:

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is MaryLou Land, and I have the honor of representing this great community that I love so much s your honorary mayor.

Every year around this time, I like to sit back and think about the year that has gone by and everything and everyone I am thankful for.

I never really had the opportunity to thank everyone who helped me to raise funds for Lehigh Community Services and Hope Hospice.

I never could have become the honorary mayor if it were not for Majestic golf Club staff and the great people that surround me here,

Without the help of the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, the Lehigh Community Services, Lions Club, Kiwanis, Realmen Ministries and all the great golf groups and local business it would have not happened.

I just want to take time out of my busy life to thank Jere Carrick for representing his community the way that he does. “Always giving with remembering,” Majestic Golf Club is truly the hub of our community.

I consider myself a very blessed person to be part of Majestic Golf Club and the great people I have come in contact with there.

If it wasn’t for Majestic Golf Club and everyone that I have met there, I would not have able to raises the funds.

I truly never could have done any of the above without all of you. Thanks again Majestic Golf Club and all the great people there who make me so proud and who help make our community a great place to live.
