Minnesota Twins outfielder Joe Benson and Batting Coach Tommy Watkins, along with mascot TC and longtime radio announcer John Gordon, visited The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Lee Memorial Health System’s Regional Cancer Center last week. The visitors brought smiles to the patients’ faces and raised awareness for the 12th Annual Minnesota Twins’ upcoming Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament.

The Minnesota Twins share a long-standing relationship with LMHS and its regional cancer programs. The Minnesota Twins Celebrity Golf Classic raises awareness and funds for local cancer programs and members of the community suffering from cancer.
