Learn how to protect your business

By Staff | Jan 21, 2010

If you live in Southwest Florida and own a business, are involved in law enforcement or work in the retail security and loss prevention industries, you should know about the South American Theft Group.

This group, which has been recognized by the FBI as a Transnational Criminal Network, travels the world committing crimes ranging from pick pocketing to violent crimes.

This organization has been operating within our five- county area, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Make plans now to attend this seminar. In addition to learning about the South American Theft Group there will be a discussion of some current shoplifting problems being experienced in this area and what can be done to combat this problem, Sheriff’s officials said.

It will be held January 27 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 14750 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers.

Authorities say space is limited so call (239-477-1477) now to reserve your seat. If you know someone who may be interested in this seminar pass along this invitation.
