Search is on for two suspects in robbery of gasoline station

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two men today who robbed the La Siesta gas station in Bonita Springs Saturday, Feb. 13.

Deputies responded to the gas station at around 9:56 p.m. at the site at 10530 Rosemary Drive in Bonita Springs. Deputies met with store employees and learned that two masked men entered the store, at least one of them armed with a gun. The suspects demanded money and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, a spokesman with the Sheriff’s Office said.

The first suspect is a Hispanic male, five feet seven inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black mask and gloves. The second suspect is a Hispanic male, five feet nine inches tall and weighing about 260 pounds. This second suspect is 18-20 years old and was wearing a dark colored short sleeved shirt and brown ski mask, investigators said.

Both suspects fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
