LRMC OFFERS ‘INSPIRATIONS’ PROGRAM
Lehigh Regional Medical Center’s Inspirations is an outpatient counseling program designed for the senior adult who is experiencing sadness and depression, loneliness, hopelessness, helplessness, trouble sleeping, tearfulness, giving up, grief, anxiety and isolation. There are three sessions per day up to five days per week. Session are under the direction of master level therapists. The program operates Monday through Friday with a morning and afternoon program. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 239-368-2713 for more information an an appointment. Medicare and a supplement and Medicaid are accepted.
PROCEEDS FROM LEHIGH CONCERT BAND TO GO TO HOSPICE
The Lehigh Concert Band will perform on March 21 at a concert to be held at the Faith Lutheran Church.
Although admission to the concert is free, there will be a collection made for the benefit of the new Hope Hospice House off of Beth Stacey Blvd. in Lehigh.
The concert begins at 3 p.m. and the church is located at 705 E. Leeland Heights Blvd. in Lehigh.
KREEGEL AIDE TO BE IN LEHIGH
An aide of State Rep. Paige V. Kreegel (District 27) will be at the East County Regional Library on Thursday March 25 from 9 to 10 a.m. to meet with constituents who have state-related issues. For more information, call Kreegel’s office at 941-575-5820.
JUDAH TO ANSWER QUESTIONS IN LEHIGH ON APRIL 7J
Lee County Commissioner Ray Judah will be in Lehigh on April 7 at the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce office at the Lehigh Towne Center to meet with anyone who would like to ask any questions about county issues.
Edd Weiner, a member of the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce and head of the Economic Development Office, said Judah will be there from 9 to 11 a.m.
“Anyone who has questions or concerns about what is going on in the county is invited to meet Commissioner Judah on that day,” said Weiner.
ELKS PLAN ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINNER, DANCE
The Lehigh Acres Elks Lodge will host a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance on Saturday, March 13 at the Lodge at 1050 Joel Blvd. The menu will consist of corn beef and the trimmings. Dinner is at 7 p.m. with cocktails at 6 p.m. Promoters say dress green.
Music is by Le Deux and the cost is $15 per person.

ETHNIC PIROCHI DINNER SET FOR MARCH 13
All Saints Church at 10291 Bayshore Rd. in North Fort Myers will have its annual Ethnic Pirohi Dinner on Saturday, March 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. The dinner features three pirochis, salad, stuffed cabbage, vegetables, dessert of your choice, coffee or tea. The cost is $10 and carry-outs are available. Baked good will also be available for purchase after the dinner, says Mariann Gaydos, chairman of the event.
The church is located on Bayshore Rd., at Exit 143 of I-75 toward the Lee Civic Center.
LUNCHEON, FASHION SHOW TO BENEFIT LEHIGH HOPE HOUSE
A special luncheon and fashion show will be presented by the General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres on March 13 at the Colonial Country Club on Colonial Blvd, just outside Lehigh. It begins at 11:30 a.m. and continues to around 2 p.m. Six members of the club will wear the newest spring fashions which will be supplied by Belk’s of the Gulf Coast Town Center on Treeline Blvd. Cost of the luncheon and fashion show is $20.
