Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On March 1, 2010, at approximately 06:04 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Roberto Santiago, D.O.B. 06/22/87 of 3712 Country Club Road, Cape

Coral, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Sommerset/Colonial, Fort

Myers, Florida.

On March 1, 2010, at approximately 06:20 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Felipe Francisco, D.O.B. 02/23/82 of 24 Seminole Ave., Fort Myers,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd/Gunnery, Lehigh

Acres, Florida.

On March 2, 2010, at approximately 12:12 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Mark Bunting, D.O.B. 11/30/65 of 4708 SW 8th Place, Cape Coral, for

DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Gladiolus Drive/ Summerlin Road,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 2, 2010, at approximately 12:22 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jennifer Champion, D.O.B. 05/28/81 of 2205 N Daniels Avenue,

Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Penzance

Blvd/Ranchette Road, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 2, 2010, at approximately 01:19 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Franklin Bayzie, D.O.B. 08/05/47 of 9739 Mendocino Drive, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos/Buttonwood,

Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On March 2, 2010, at approximately 06:05 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Wayne McCullough, D.O.B. 02/05/57 of 7604 Hart Drive, North Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bayshore/Hart Road,

North Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 3, 2010, at approximately 04:31 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Karen Hargitt, D.O.B. 01/30/54 of 26511 Bay Road, Bonita Springs,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos/Prescott, Fort Myers

Beach, Florida.

On March 4, 2010, at approximately 07:01 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jearld Morris, D.O.B. 01/17/69 of 126 Highview Avenue, Lehigh

Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Palm Beach Blvd /West

Road, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 5, 2010, at approximately 01:25 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Tara Walton, D.O.B. 06/27/75 of 1735 Brantley Road #2410, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 11998 S Cleveland

Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 5, 2010, at approximately 02:04 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Kelly Jelenic, D.O.B. 09/25/67 of 103 SE 12th Place, Cape Coral, for

DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 15671 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers

On March 6, 2010, at approximately 08:59 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Alexander Greenwood, D.O.B. 10/12/84 of 18268 Lily Lane, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 13353 N Cleveland Ave,

arrested John Weldon, D.O.B. 02/18/63 of 1502 NE 13th Avenue, Cape Coral,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Del Prado Blvd/Coral Lakes

Blvd., Cape Coral, Florida.

On March 7, 2010, at approximately 04:17 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jermain Garrick, D.O.B. 02/26/82 of 3230 SW King Street, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Summerlin Road/College

Parkway, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 7, 2010, at approximately 07:52 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Heath McKinney, D.O.B. 05/18/79 of 15130 Piping Plover Court #103,

North Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 17305 San

Carlos Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
