Joseph E. Eckstein

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday March 17, 2010 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres for Joseph E. Eckstein, 71, of Lehigh who died Thursday March 11, 2010. Born in Providence, R.I., he was son to the late Peter C. Eckstein and Mildred A. (Howland) Eckstein. He was the husband of the late Carol “Terry” Eckstein.

He is survived by a son, Frederick M. “Freddy” Eckstein of Florida; daughters, Helen E. Stevens of Florida, Sherry A. Baldini of Rhode Island and Mary K. Eckstein of New York; brother Thomas Eckstein of Rhode Island; sister, Mildred “Dolly” Edwards of Rhode Island; grandchildren Matthew, Kimberly, Samantha, Megan and Justin; as well as great-grandchildren Ramiro, Brian and Skyler. He was preceded in death by brothers, Peter and Robert as well as his sister, Lee.

Visitation will be held 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday March 16, 2010 at the Anderson – Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services chapel, 2701 Lee Blvd. Lehigh Acres, (239) 368 – 7080.
