Rose L. Gerstner

Rose L. Gerstner 87, of Lehigh Acres and formerly Lake Wales, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, in Lehigh Acres, of heart failure.

She was born November 1, 1922 in Newark, N.J., and moved to Lake Wales 36 years ago from Miami. She was a homemaker and was active in the Lake Wales TOPS Club. She was a former member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit and was active in the Council of Catholic Women.

Her survivors include her son William E. Gerstner and his wife Michele of Lehigh Acres; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Her husband Erwin Gerstner and grandson Robert preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Bluett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the service time. Johnson Funeral Home
