The Lehigh Acres Spring Festival begins tonight at 6 p.m. with opening ceremonies and continues for the next nine days concluding on March 27 with a parade down Homestead Rd. to Arthur Ave., just before Veterans Park.

There are events every night beginning tonight with the Spring Festival Junior Idol and Art contests. The following is a list of events during the entire 9-day event. There is also a Midway with plenty of rides and food vendors. The main attraction of the show is Saturday night when a group calling itself Stayin’ Alive performs in concert on the giant outside stage in a tribute to the Bee Gees. It’s all free except for a small parking fee to get into the park. There is a cost in the Midway for the rides.

FRIDAY, March 19
