Alex Santana hit a grand slam home run in the second inning and wound up with seven total RBI to lead Mariner to a 12-2 five-inning victory Saturday night over Ida Baker.

Alex Santana also had a two-run single in the first inning and an RBI single in the third, figuring into all three of the Tritons’ multi-run rallies. Daniel Alimonti added two hits and four RBI while Audry Santana connected for two hits and scored three runs.

Alimonti pitched all five innings, giving up four hits and striking out seven to earn his second victory of the season.

Mike Gulotta (2-for-3) hammered a solo home run in the first inning for Baker and singled to drive in the Bulldogs’ other run in the third.

Mariner (12-1) hosts Minneapolis Southwest Monday night while Baker (5-8) hosts the Minnesotans Tuesday night.
