Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On March 22, 2010, at approximately 01:00 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Axel Luis Rodriguez, D.O.B. 10/28/57 of 2103 Jackson Ave, Alva,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of E 12 St/Joel Blvd, Lehigh Acres,

Florida.

On March 22, 2010, at approximately 10:56 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Shelby Erin Gall, D.O.B. 07/19/91 of 19465 Devonwood Cr, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bella Terra/Corkscrew

Rd, Estero, Florida.

On March 23, 2010, at approximately 12:27 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Eric Thomas Duckworth, D.O.B. 09/21/80 of 18825 Immokalee Rd,

Naples, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 14821 Six Mile Cypress

Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 23, 2010, at approximately 06:15 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Charles Adrian Pahoundis, D.O.B. 02/12/65 of 8421 Main St,

Bokeelia, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Cape Coral Pkwy & SE

17th Pl, Cape Coral, Florida.

On March 23, 2010, at approximately 08:36 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Lyle Gordon Rogers, D.O.B. 01/20/42 of 11350 Azalea Lane, Fort

Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Estero

Blvd/School St, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On March 23, 2010, at approximately 11:43 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested William J. Hurley, D.O.B. 11/30/55 of 5356 Palmetto St, Fort Myers

On March 24, 2010, at approximately 12:40 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

On March 24, 2010, at approximately 08:19 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
