Vivian A. Durfee

Vivian A. Durfee, 82, of Lehigh Acres, formerly of Dudley, Mass., died on Sunday April 4, 2010.

Durfee taught school before becoming a registered nurse. She loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles and was an avid reader, her family said.

She was a memberof the Lehigh Acres Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Herbert E. Durfee of Lehigh Acres; daughter, Karen A. Simioni of Lehigh Acres; a brother, Wayne Armstrong of Meriden, Conn.; three sisters, Audrey Bacon, Dell Kemp and Evelyn Govesteen, all of Dudley, Mass.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Moninski of Dudley, Mass.; Enzo Hollenbeck and Laura Bonnette both of Lehigh Acres and four great grandchildren.
