The following upcoming upcoming public meets are scheduled in Lehigh Acres. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in local issues.

Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corp. (LACPC) meets on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Park Community Center. The LACPC meets on the second Wednesday night of each month and is open to the public.

East County Water Control District (ECWCD) meets at 6:30 p.m. on April 19 at its office on East County Lane off of Lee Blvd. Call 368-0044 for more information.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District will meet at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21 at Veterans Park Community Center.

Lehigh Community Council will meet Monday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Living Waters Christian Fellowship Church at 500 N. Sunshine Blvd., next to Doc’s Auto Repair (the former Fleet Reserve building). The Lehigh Acres Streetlight District Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m. on May 14 at Veterans Park. It meets on the second Friday of the month. Open to public comment at the beginning and the end of the meeting.
