The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of a scam in the Lehigh Acres area involving flowers. According to investigators, a group of males is selling $20 coupons claiming the coupons are good for a bouquet of flowers each month at Lehigh Acres Florist (located at 402 Joan Avenue in Lehigh Acres).

The coupons being sold are not authorized by the flower shop and will not be honored.

The sheriff’s office has received complaints from several people who bought the coupons, only to find out they are worthless.

If you have purchased these fraudulent coupons, or know anything about the group selling them, you’re asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 477-1000, or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
