Lee County Sheriff’s deputies are investing a death in Lehigh Acres at 3405 21st St. SW. The scene is roped off with yellow crime ribbon while detectives are inside collecting evidence. The death occurred Wednesday.

According to reports, a woman is dead and a man is in custody and considered a person of interest in the case. The Sheriff’s Office did not identify the man. Investigators later in the day said they were investigating the death as a homicide.

Public records show that the house at 3405 2st St. SW is owned by Idilio Ramos.
