Little information was available Thursday night but it was reported that the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a stabbing that occurred on Gilbert Ave. in Lehigh Acres.

The stabbing apparently happened at a home on that street.

According to reports, two people have been taken to the hospital by helicopter and are in critical condition. It was reported that one of the victims injured was a baby only a month or two months in age. Nearby residents said five people lived in the home on Gilbert Ave. where the alleged stabbing took place. No more details were available late Thursday night.
