Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On May 25, 2010, at approximately 05:33 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Richard Siegel, D.O.B. 02/03/42 of 23580 Via Itala Circle, Bonita

Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Ben Hill Griffin/Terminal,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On May 25, 2010, at approximately 06:02 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jose Avila Villanueva, D.O.B. 02/07/82 of 2902 35th Street SW,

Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of SR 82/Gunnery,

Lehigh Acres, Florida.

On May 26, 2010, at approximately 06:25 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joseph Cabanas, D.O.B. 12/24/86 of 1735 Brantley Rd #810, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 10770 Clear Lake Loop,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On May 26, 2010, at approximately 06:36 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Shaun Case, D.O.B. 03/29/72 of Eland Drive #342, North Fort Myers,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Cypress/1St Street, Fort Myers,

Florida.

On May 27, 2010, at approximately 01:02 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Raymond Hufault, D.O.B. 01/09/81 of 759 Clancy Street, Lehigh

Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Lee Blvd/Sara Avenue,

arrested Aldina Camara, D.O.B. 12/22/79 of 409 NW 15th Street, Cape Coral,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of McGregor/Dean Way, Fort

Myers, Florida.

On May 27, 2010, at approximately 06:59 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Andrew Schmitt, D.O.B. 12/09/84 of 2040 Balsey Rd, Alva, for DUI.

The incident occurred in the area of Cape Coral Parkway/SE 15th Avenue,

Cape Coral, Florida.

On May 27, 2010, at approximately 09:59 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Andrew McVeigh, D.O.B. 09/03/62 of 1555 North Tamiami Trail #27,

North Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of N Tamiami

Trail/Brooks Road, North Fort Myers, Florida.

On May 29, 2010, at approximately 03:31 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Michael Cheffer, D.O.B. 09/24/64 of 1377 Driftwood Drive, North

Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of US 41/ Hancock

Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers, Florida.

On May 29, 2010, at approximately 05:09 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies
