Taking youngsters to see Miracle play

By Staff | Jun 1, 2010

Going to see the Miracle Play: Steve Baker, left, who owns the Lehigh Fun Bus, a charter bus in Lehigh, stands along side of his wife, Inke Baker, before they carried eight children last week to a Miracle baseball game at Hammond Stadium. The children were sponsored by both the Kiwanis and Rotary clubs of Lehigh. Steve is a member of the Kiwanis Club and Inke is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres. The children were treated to pizzas donated by Atomic Pizza. They also received T-shirts and colas while on the trip. The clubs paid for the children’s admission to the park. The eight children shown here were selected by the two clubs. Steve Baker said more trips for the youth of Lehigh are planned. There was no charge to the children. Photo by Robert J. Anderson
