Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On May 31, 2010, at approximately 02:19 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Anthony Leon Ward, D.O.B. 11/28/71 of 853 SE 46th Lane, Cape Coral,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of SE 17th Pl Cape Coral Pkwy,

Cape Coral, Florida.

On May 31, 2010, at approximately 02:42 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Ashley Lauren Jurkofsky, D.O.B. 02/14/88 of 625 SE 14th Terrace, Cape

Coral, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of SR 45 & Edison Ave, Fort

Myers, Florida.

On June 1, 2010, at approximately 02:07 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Michael Louis Clemente, D.O.B. 08/25/74 of 16175 John Morris Rd,

Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Iona Rd/John Morris

Rd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 1, 2010, at approximately 06:50 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joseph Richard Cashin, D.O.B. 11/01/80 of 7278 Buchanan Rd, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 8th St SW/Connie Ave

S., Lehigh Acres, Florida.

On June 1, 2010, at approximately 05:24 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jeffery Allen Funchion, D.O.B. 07/06/64 of 16896 Windcrest Dr, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 16896 Windcrest Dr,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 2, 2010, at approximately 07:49 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Luis M. Hernandez, D.O.B. 07/13/82 of 422 Pinehouse Rd, Lehigh

Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Summerlin Rd/College

Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 4, 2010, at approximately 01:35 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jontavious Lapaul Thomas, D.O.B. 03/24/87 for DUI. The

incident occurred in the area of 17th Pl SE & Cape Coral Pkwy, Cape Coral,

Florida.

On June 4, 2010, at approximately 01:57 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Roger Lee Kern, D.O.B. 07/29/61 of 1852 Golf View Ave, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Cleveland Ave/Golfview

Ave, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 4, 2010, at approximately 12:20 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jennifer Leigh Ann Hobby, D.O.B. 01/26/86 of 3120 28th St SW,

Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Daniels

Pkwy/Chamberlain Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 12:05 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Office

arrested Guadalupe Hernandez, D.O.B. 10/10/77 of 26270 London Lane, Bonita

Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of London Lane/Rosemary,

Bonita Springs, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 01:15 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jack Dicristofalo, D.O.B. 09/14/41 for DUI. The incident

occurred in the area of Sanibel Blvd/S Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 02:12 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Marcia Maria Flor, D.O.B. 05/06/68 of 132 Montrose Dr, Fort Myers,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of McGregor Blvd/Cypress Lake

Dr, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 02:15 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Kelly Elizabeth Britton, D.O.B. 11/28/75 of 911 SE 30th Lane, North Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of W. Lakeview

Blvd/Lochmoor Cr, North Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 02:30 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Emily Charlotte Suess, D.O.B. 10/14/76 of 8387 Silver Birch Way,

Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 8536 Fordham St,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 02:50 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested James Kent Lenahan, D.O.B. 02/14/58 of 2230 Nursery Rd,

Clearwater, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 5041 Pine Island Rd,

Matlacha, Florida.

On June 5, 2010, at approximately 10:11 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Derek Raymond Elverd, D.O.B. 07/14/80 of 27391 Pelican Ridge Cr,

Boca Grande, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 2310 Estero Blvd,

Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 02:00 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Marshawn Lamont Green, D.O.B. 06/05/77 of 2913 39th St, Lehigh

Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Daniels Pkwy/ West

Links Dr, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 05:03 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Christopher Ronald Carroll, D.O.B. 06/07/87 of 4123 Gulf Dr, Sanibel,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 1735 Brantley Rd, Fort Myers,

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 09:16 am, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joshua Wayne Woodward, D.O.B. 05/01/78 of 8465 Wren Rd, Fort

Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos Blvd/Three

Oakes Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 10:36 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Timothy Huffman, D.O.B. 10/15/78 of 13309 Corbel Cr, Fort Myers,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S Tamiami Trail/Vandenberg,

Estero, Florida.

“Mobile Eyes” Against Drunk Driving is a joint partnership between the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, MADD (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving) and Associates and Bruce L. A 911 caller reporting a drunk driver and acknowledging the “Mobile Eyes” program becomes eligible for a $50 dollar reward if the impaired driver is stopped by law enforcement and arrested for DUI.
