As a follow-up to previous news stories on this subject, the second round of overnight intersection closures to set the beams at the Summerlin Road/College Parkway intersection in Fort Myers is scheduled for Monday, June 14 and Tuesday, June 15, according to David M. Loveland, manager of transportation planning with the Lee County Dept. of Transportation.

The closures will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both nights. The intersection will be closed to all through traffic, left turns, and southbound right turns while the work to set the beams is underway.
