From the Lee County Sheriff’s Office

The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our

community. Therefo the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past two weeks the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 15 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On June 1, 2010, at approximately 04:32 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Casey Gale Commander, D.O.B. 07/15/81, of 3815 SW 6th Ave,

Cape Coral, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of Ashlar Ave /

Taylor Lane., Lehigh Acres.

On June 1, 2010, at approximately 11:59 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Peter Rivera, D.O.B. 06/24/77, of 4695 New Haven Dr., Fort Myers,

on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in

the area of 2nd Ave. / Oak Ave, Fort Myers.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 05:18 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Roy Olando Howson, D.O.B. 08/19/87, of 4756 Varsity Lakes Dr.,

Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 4731 24th St. SW, Lehigh Acres.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 12:41 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Joshua Wayne Woodward, D.O.B. 05/01/78, of 8465 Wren Rd., Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos Blvd.

/ Three Oaks, Fort Myers.

On June 6, 2010, at approximately 11:29 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Shannon Dawn Morgan, D.O.B. 01/17/73, of 1420 SE 25th Ter.,

wihtout a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 2115 Dr. Martin

Luther King Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers.

On June 9, 2010, at approximately 12:46 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Jeffrey Kim Weiss, D.O.B. 10/26/76, of 17179 Terraverde Cir, Fort

without a Prescription. The incident occurred in the area of 3594 Unique Cir.,

Fort Myers.

On June 10, 2010, at approximately 03:28 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Diana Jennie Maloney, D.O.B. 06/24/84, of 31830

Washington Loop Rd., Punta Gorda, on felony drug charges for Possession

of Cocaine, Possession of Controlled Substance without a Prescription. The

incident occurred in the area of Alico Rd. / Lee Rd., Fort Myers.

On June 10, 2010, at approximately 10:13 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Warren Lee Jarrett, D.O.B. 04/22/26, of 11370 Orange

Blossom Dr., Bonita Springs, on felony drug charges for Possession of

Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Barbara Dr. / Pebble Bch Rd, Bonita Springs.

On June 10, 2010, at approximately 12:57 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Dwight Robert Brosnan, D.O.B. 05/13/78, of 5205 Cedar

Bend Dr, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of San Carlos Blvd., Fort Myers.

On June 10, 2010, at approximately 08:44 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Amy Jo Willis, D.O.B. 10/26/75, of 933 SE 24th Ave, Cape

Coral, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Pine Island Rd. / Stringfellow Rd., Pine Island.

On June 11, 2010, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Armando Garcia, D.O.B. 11/27/52, of 342 Ospreys Landing

Cir, Naples, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of S. Tamiami Trail / County Line Rd., Bonita Springs.

On June 12, 2010, at approximately 01:30 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jacoby Marquell Mason, D.O.B. 10/02/86, of 5547 Seventh

Ave, Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Veronica Shoemaker / Brookhill Rd., Fort

Myers.

On June 12, 2010, at approximately 06:29 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Lester Butler, D.O.B. 06/26/78, of 3541 Evans Ave., Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of

incident occurred in the area of Solomon Blvd./ Winkler Ave., Fort Myers.

On June 12, 2010, at approximately 11:49 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Michael Dean Edwards, D.O.B. 09/06/68, of 2391 Lippincott

St., Alva, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Palm Beach Blvd. / Royal Palm Blvd., Fort

On June 13, 2010, at approximately 06:08 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Stanley James Griffin, D.O.B. 04/25/89, of 1624 Pawnee

St., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine with Intent

to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of 2211 N. Tamiami Trail,

North Fort Myers.
