Free workshop set to help families avoid foreclosures
A new workshop to help home owners prevent foreclosure will be held in downtown Fort Myers on Saturday, June 26. The Housing Corporation, a not-for-profit counseling agency, will educate homeowners about options including loan modifications, loss mitigation and government assistance. Free workshops begin at each hour starting at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Fort Myers office, 2506 Second Street, Suite 207.
Representatives from Chase Bank will be on site to assist existing Chase borrowers with any questions or concerns.
Founded in 1994 to assist borrowers with every aspect of home ownership, The Housing Corporation provides services to help qualified buyers purchase and keep their homes. With Pre- and Post-Purchase counseling available, professionals with The Housing Corporation help consumers navigate the complex services and assistance programs available. Credit and bankruptcy counseling is also available for an affordable fee.
