Wilbourne W. Johnson

Wilbourne W. Johnson, 95, of Lehigh Acres and formerly of New York City died Thursday, June 17, 2010. He was employed as an electronics technician with the General Post Office in Manhattan.

He moved to Lehigh Acres with his wife after retiring in 1983. He served as a deacon at The First Baptist Church in Lehigh.

He is survived by his wife Hyacinth, three children, four stepchildren, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson and 10 brothers and sisters.

A funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at The First Baptist Church 507 Sunshine Blvd. N., Lehigh Acres. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in his name may be made to the First Baptist Church. Arrangements by Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home (239) 334-4880.
