An Update: The Lee County Sheriff’s Office today said Alvarez has been located.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult. Juan Domingo Alvarez, 54, has been depressed following the loss of his job and his family has become concerned over his emotional state of mind, Sheriff’s officials said. He left his home at around 10a.m. Wednesday morning and has not been seen or heard from since. He was last seen at his home in the 2700 block of 15th Street SW in Lehigh Acres.

Juan Alvarez is described as a 54 year old Hispanic male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds and is balding. He is driving a 1999 BMW, silver in color TAG # 114 JVR. Alvarez has relatives in the Miami area.
