Ruth C. Horan

Ruth C. Horan, 96, of Lehigh Acres, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Born in Providence, R.I., in 1914, she moved to Lehigh Acres in 1974 with her husband, Russell Horan.

She is survived by nieces, Rita Genz, Margaret and Jane Tumblety, all who live in New Jersey and a nephew, James Carroll of Tampa.

Horan was a long time and active member of the Ladies of the Elks in Lehigh.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26, at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Blvd., Lehigh from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral beginning at 11 a.m.

Interment will be at Lee Memorial Park.
