County’s first ‘Virtual High School’ student graduates

Lee County Public Schools Virtual Instruction Program (LVIP) has announced the first “virtual high school graduate” as Brett Pignataro.

He transferred from South Fort Myers High School last year and finished his senior level coursework through the full-time virtual program, enrolling in classes provided by Florida Virtual School.

A brief graduation ceremony was held in the Academic Services conference room at the Lee County Public Education Center on June 23, school officials

Other students interested in attending virtual school in all grade levels can begin the process by reviewing the information and applying online at (lvip.leeschools.net).
