Eva W. Cumbess

Eva W. “Momma” Cumbess, 84, of Lehigh Acres, died on June 30, 2010 at Hope Hospice AT 1205 Wings Way in Lehigh. She was born on October 27, 1925 in Jasper, Fla., and was a daughter of John and Nellie (Bass) Amerson.

She was a resident of Jasper her entire life until eight months ago when she moved to Lehigh Acres to live with her daughter and family.

Cumbess was a member of the Church of God in Jasper.

She was the wife of the late Jesse Cumbess who died in 1996.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane, son-in-law, Chris of Lehigh Acres; her son, Jesse M. of Lehigh Acres, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a brother, Robert Lee Amerson of Jasper, Fla.
