Tyler thanks those who helped him move

By Staff | Jul 7, 2010

To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my Lehigh friends and neighbors who volunteered these past four weeks to help me move my business (Tylers Tae Kwon Do Inc.) from 205 Joel Blvd. to Town center 25 Homestead Rd., N Suite 33.

It has been tough being a building owner /landlord and manager. Hard times make it hard to collect rent and then hard to pay the mortgage and they lead to squabbles and misunderstandings; however, a judge found that false charges had been filed against me and now that I was found to be correct the charges were thrown out by a judge.

Thank the Lord, now I can now concentrate on running to be elected to the East County Water Control District Board of Commissioners (Seat 4). During my last campaign I promised to work to reduce spending and that netted me 43 percent of the vote and I am asking all those supporters to vote for me again.

My decision to run was based on the analysis that the 43 percent supporter plus contacting over 7,000 clients that my business has served over the recent years. Thanks to CAIT for supporting me.

It’s the first time CAIT has openly supported a candidate running for office and since they will now change from supporting just tax saving legislation and supporting reduce spending candidates and they said they will support more and pledge in getting out their 6,000 votes to back them up.

I have assembled a staff to help write press releases to keep you updated on what I want to accomplish and also to ask your ideas and suggestions about the ECWCD to help me represent you my dear Lehigh neighbors. Our staff also will consider political strategy and recruit volunteers to distribute our message and ring doorbells. The analysis showed that I have a good chance of getting the most votes due to the fact that three other candidates are running and the vote split will be in my favor. Stop in to chat at any time now that we are open. A story appeared on Page 1 of The Citizen last week about my business opening. It is still on Lehighacrescitizen.com.
