Buckingham Shell Station robbery suspect sought

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office today said investigators are seeking help in identifying the person who committed an armed robbery today, Aug. 13.

Sometime around 10 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery at the Shell gas station located 4821 Buckingham Road, outside of Lehigh. The investigation revealed a black male entered the store, approached the clerk with the handgun and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black male with dreads, wearing sunglasses, a dark T-shirt, and long dark shorts. Surveillance photos accompany this story.
