Candidates running for a seat on the Lee County Board of Commissioners will debate Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. and you can be there from your favorite chair at home.

The joint debate begins at 7:30 p.m. on Comcast Channel 97.

The issues facing Lee County are more critical and urgent than they have been in many decades. This Primary Election on August 24 will determine how your tax dollars are spent, and the future of Lee County for many years to come.

Early Voting continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the following five sites:

* East County Regional Library, 881 Gunnery Road, Lehigh Acres

* Lee County Elections Office, 2480 Thompson St., Fort Myers

* Lee County Election Center, 13180 S Cleveland Ave., south Fort Myers

* Bonita Springs Elections Branch Office, 24951 Old 41 Road, Stute No. 10

* Cape Coral Elections Branch Office, 1031 SE 9th Place, No. 3

When you report to an Early Voting site, be sure to have your driver’s license for a form of identification. You do not have to know your princinct location.
