Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On August 9, 2010, at approximately 04:33 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Salima Khan Gonin, D.O.B. 06/18/35 of 16 SE 15th Ave, Cape Coral,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 4100 Hancock Bridge Pkwy,

North Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 9, 2010, at approximately 09:40 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies

arrested Phillip Edward Merritt, D.O.B. 03/14/77 of 8341 Whiskey Preserve

Cr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of E. College Pointe

Dr, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 11, 2010, at approximately 05:26 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Barbara A. Bishop, D.O.B. 09/08/64 of 4850 Higginbotham

Rd, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 11861 Palm

Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 11, 2010, at approximately 06:28 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Richard M. Carter, D.O.B. 10/20/64 of 4516 SW Santa

Barbara Pl, Cape Coral, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Cape

Coral Bridge Toll Plaza, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 11, 2010, at approximately 11:32 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Thomas D. Jones, D.O.B. 08/13/61 of 8062 Shoreridge Ter.,

Indianapolis, IN, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Summerlin

Blvd/San Carlos Blvd, 081210, Florida.

On August 12, 2010, at approximately 10:03 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Karen Elizabeth Miller-Maness, D.O.B. 12/27/60 of 1456

Argyle Dr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 13750 N

Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 12:17 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Joann Marie Dambro, D.O.B. 03/07/50 of 13021 Point

Breeze Dr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of San

Carlos Blvd/Broadway, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 12:38 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Fidel Jose Angulo, D.O.B. 01/18/59 of 536 SW 22nd Ave,

Fort Lauderdale, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Bell Blvd N &

Baldwin St, Lehigh Acres, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 12:42 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Joey Allen Wilson, D.O.B. 01/07/83 of 14979 Bonaire Cr,

Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 15320 McGregor

Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 01:21 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Liana Adele Allen, D.O.B. 01/22/65 of 5363 Palmetto St,

Fort Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Main St &

San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 01:44 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Rodd Jeffrey Vail, D.O.B. 03/03/69 of 3670 Sunland Lane,

Estero, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of US 41, Fort Myers,

Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 10:14 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Paul Joseph Alexander, D.O.B. 08/08/53 of Pine Island,

for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Stringfellow Rd / Mackerel Rd,

Bokeelia, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 11:07 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Charles Eli Colburn, D.O.B. 11/10/54 of 510 Bow Line Dr,

Naples, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 10271 Corkscrew Rd,

Estero, Florida.

On August 13, 2010, at approximately 11:23 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Richard Ernest Santacroce, D.O.B. 01/24/66 of 19241 San

Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of

San Carlos Blvd/Main St, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 02:36 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Lindsay Alison Halko, D.O.B. 09/10/82 of 199 Caviller Ct,

North Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Main St/San

Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 03:32 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Juan Francisco Juan, D.O.B. 08/30/89 of 11068 Rosemary

Dr, Bonita Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Noble

Lane/Rosemary Dr, Bonita Springs, Florida.

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 07:23 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Pablo Hernandez, D.O.B. 11/18/91 of 8269 Matanzas Rd,

Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Oriole Rd/Robin Rd,

Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 12:05 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 03:30 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Pedro J. Mateo, D.O.B. 12/09/57 of 27659 Horne, Bonita

Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 27140 Old 41 Rd,

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 08:45 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Kristan Nicholas Perez, D.O.B. 12/18/90 of 811 14th St,

Naples, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 1600 Estero Blvd, Fort

Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 14, 2010, at approximately 09:58 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jason A. Quebbeman, D.O.B. 03/19/76 of 202 Fairweather

Dr, Fort Myers Beach, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 266

Virginia Ave, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 01:56 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Matthew Art Schumacher, D.O.B. 05/30/79 of 16160

Bayside Pointe, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Iona

Rd & Cape Sable Lane, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 02:51 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Dexter C. Kellman, D.O.B. 03/26/70 of 6940 Westwood

Acres Rd, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 7500

Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 05:44 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Alexander Barbosa Feliciano, D.O.B. 01/22/88 of 3766

Metro Pkwy, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 11000

College Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 05:58 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Regina Lynn Wethington, D.O.B. 09/10/68 of 9821 Alabama

St, Bonita Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of 2825 East

Brook Dr, Bonita Springs, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 09:08 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Gregory Scott Brown, D.O.B. 03/03/62 of 2512 39th St,

Lehigh Acres, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of W. 14th /Edison

Ave, Lehigh Acres, Florida.

On August 15, 2010, at approximately 10:13 pm, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Zachary Scott Steele, D.O.B. 03/19/86 of 11730 Timberline

Cr, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of S. Cleveland

Ave & Daniels Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida.

On August 15, 2011, at approximately 02:17 am, Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Caitlin Rose Sanders, D.O.B. 05/13/87 of 14621 Fair

Havens Rd, Fort Myers, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of

Corkscrew Rd/Sandy Lane, Estero, Florida.
