The following upcoming public meetings are scheduled in Lehigh Acres. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in local issues.

Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corp. (LACPC) meets Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Park Community Center. The LACPC meets on the second Wednesday night of each month.

East County Water control District (ECWCD) meets at is mobile home office on East County Lane off of Lee blvd. on Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District meets at Veterans Park Community Center at 4 p.m. on Sept. 22.

The Lehigh Community Council meets Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Living Waters Christian Fellowship Church at 500 N. Sunshine Blvd. The Community Council meetings are on the third Monday of the month. Email Damon Shelor at president@lehighcouncil.com for more information.

The Lehigh Acres Street District Advisory Committee meets at 1 p.m. at Veterans Park Community Center on the second Friday of each month and is open to the public. This is where to go to apply for a street light on your street.
