Public’s help sought in finding Lehigh home invasion suspect

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies are asking help from the public in locating a suspect who is wanted in regards to a home invasion that occurred on Aug. 10 on 13th St. in Lehigh Acres.
According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim of the home invasion said he was asleep on a couch when two black men came into the house through what he said was was an unlocked door.
The reported stated that the man’s TV set was taken by ordering the victim at gunpoint to put it in a vehicle owned by his mother.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit through their investigation were able to identify the two men and Oscar Dean Russ, 33, of 2610 Charleston Park Drive in Alva was arrested Aug. 24 and was charged with one count of home invasion with a firearm.
Investigators said they are looking for the other man and have have identified him as Jerome T. Johnson, 21, of 23020 Railroad Ave. in Fort Myers.

Investigators say Johnson is five feet and seven inches tall, weighing 225 pounds with brown eyes and black hair with a heavy build.
