Brand finishes training in Texas

Air Force Airman Marquis D. Brand graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Brand is the son of Nate and Wanda Brand of Colin Ave. N., Lehigh Acres.

Brand is a 2009 graduate of Lehigh Senior High School, Lehigh Acres.

Fields graduates from Air Force training

Air Force Airman Jeffery D. Fields Jr. graduated from basic military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Claudia and Jeffery D. Fields of Gerald Ave., Lehigh Acres.

Fields is a 2006 graduate of Riverdale High School.

Anderson finishes Air Force Basic

Air Force Airman Derek S. Anderson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Wendy Anderson of Angelica Drive, Alva, and a 2006 graduate of LaBelle High School, LaBelle.

Tovar graduates from Army Basic

Army Pvt. Oscar Tovar has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied intensive course to prepare for combat.

He is the brother of Elizabed Tovar of Noble Pine Drive, LaBelle.

Tovar is a 2007 graduate of LaBelle High School.
