Marylou Land

Marylou Land, who was last year’s Lehigh Honorary Mayor, aced Hole Number 7 with her 4 iron at Majestic Golf Club in Lehigh Acres recently during a tournament that Majestic was hosting. For getting a hole in one, Land won a Bose wave system. Land said it was the happiest day of her life, like a dream come true. She said she couldn’t believe it when it happened, considering she plans golf twice a week.

She now wants to give up golfing to become a “fisher woman.” Her next dream is to go deep sea fishing and catch a Blue Marlin, she said. Photo provided
