The FGCU men’s soccer team makes its much-anticipated home debut Thursday when it welcomes three other teams to campus for the Kick-Off Classic.

The opening game of the two-day event pairs two ranked opponents against each other when No. 24 USF (2-1-1) and No. 9 Ohio State (4-0) collide at 5 p.m. The Eagles (2-1-1) home opener follows against undefeated Drexel (4-0).

USF kicks off the final pair of matches Saturday against Drexel at 5 p.m. before FGCU and No. 9 Ohio State meet in the final game.

The Eagles return home after starting the first five games of the year on the road.

It’s the third time in four years the Eagles have hosted the tournament.
