Symphony’s 50th season tickets on sale
Be part of the excitement and celebration as the Southwest Florida Symphony presents its 2010-11 50th Anniversary Season.
Under the direction of Maestro Michael Hall, this season will showcase two world premiere pieces of music, guest artists and local talented musicians and chorus.
The season will also include the recreation of the Symphony’s very first concert from 1961 featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. Also on stage will be Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” with nearly 90 orchestra members and 120 voice chorus as well as welcome back pops conductor Carl Topilow for and evening of Dixieland and Swing.
Single tickets and subscriptions are on sale for the classical, pops, Sanibel, Stained Glass and the Around Town concerts.
