The “Babe Event” will be held Saturday, Oct. 16 at the New Life Assembly of God Church at 5146 Leonard Blvd. in Lehigh Acres. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16 from 3 to 8 p.m. with doors opening at 2:30 p.m.

The featured speaker will be Andrea Stephens will talk about being the young woman you were created to be as the event is for teenager girls.

There will be a free mom’s workshop. Drop of your daughter by 3 p.m., then come back at 6:15 p.m. to get advice from the expert panel or raising teen girls.

Grammy nominated artist Ayiesha Woods will be in concert.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door The ticket also includes a free book titled Girlfriend you are a Babe, pizza, a concert, fashion show, giveaways and more.

A grand prize of an iPod Nano will be given away.

Teenage girls are being asked to bring a canned food donation, too.

Miss America Finalist Sierra Minott and author of Craving Grace, Lisa Andrews will be at the event.
