The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival is launching a “Biggest Fan” contest and will be send out “prize packs” by drawing tickets at random created for the annual event’s Facebook and Twitter fans.

The 10-day festival runs Oct. 29 through Nov. 7 throughout Lee County with two weekends of hands-on nature experiences along with kayaking and canoeing, including speakers and instruction, eco-activities for children and adults, races, a fishing tournament, geocaching, green events and paddlers’ get-togethers.

Contest rules: Each of the following ways to win will create a ticket with your user name on it. Tickets will be added daily to the pile. Tickets will be drawn at random throughout October and until Nov. 7. Winners will be announced and contacted via Facebook and Twitter.

You do not need to be present to win and can win multiple times. All prizes can be picked up at a designated Lee County Parks & Recreation location or mailed to a U.S. Postal Service address you provide.

Prize packs are composed of festival goodies including your very own VIP Blueway Wristband good for “added value” during the festival and admission to some social events.
